Lloyd C. Henning Collection Regarding the Roycrofters 1915-1966

This collection consists primarily of correspondence documenting Lloyd Henning's efforts to complete his collection of Roycrofters books and publications dating from 1915 to 1966. In later years, letters between Henning and Elbert Hubbard Jr., son of Roycrofters' founder, become largely personal. Also included are broadsides, flyers, advertisements, brochures, and catalogs showing Roycrofters books and gift items.

Biographical note: Newspaper printer; Lloyd Henning worked for newspapers in Gallup, St. Johns, Flagstaff, Phoenix, Winslow and Holbrook. He married Esther Hess in 1911, organized the First National Bank of Holbrook in 1922, and was an original owner of Navajo-Apache Telephone Company.
